We found that patients really enjoy something that they can chew comfortably with and is stable. We place mini implants with splinted crowns where a person can actually chew and function as if they had their normal teeth.

Dr. Apel has been in practice in Melbourne since 1988. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, he graduated from the University of Louisville’s School of Dental Medicine, a facility for training physicians and dentists. He maintained a successful private practice in Louisville for five years, but Florida’s pleasant climate and the promise of year-round outside activities brought the Apels to the sunshine state.
