In this video, Dr. Victor Apel, an experienced Florida cosmetic dentist explains the entirety of the crown placement procedure and how to best care for your new dental cap.
The sequence for a crown: You’ll come into the office, and we’ll have the area comfortably numb. We’ll prepare the tooth and take an impression. That will be sent to a lab, which will take about two weeks. Once the crown is fabricated, it comes back, we’ll have you come in, we’ll deliver that, cement that in place, and that’ll help to protect that tooth. But don’t forget, you need to come in for regular visits for evaluation and cleanings.
