What Options Do You Offer to Replace All of My Teeth?

In this video, Dr. Victor Apel, a dedicated Melbourne implant dentist explains the different non-invasive procedures we offer to completely restore your entire smile.

You know, a lot of people struggle with missing all their teeth, and they always ask us, what are the options I have to replace my teeth? Well, I’ll tell you, it’s a great time to have your teeth restored because of the technology that’s available, especially for us with the mini dental implants. We can do an overdenture that’s stabilized with mini implants. You’ll see this one right here. This is an actual upper denture, and inside are small housings that will actually snap onto the tops of all of these mini implants that have been placed into the ridge. This snaps in place and helps to stabilize that so it doesn’t fall down when we’re eating, laughing at a party, or out socializing.

Another option is to have something that’s much smaller. This is a semi-removable roundhouse. It’s even hard to get off. You’ll see right in here, this has tighter O-rings which actually fit over the top of more implants to help to stabilize that. Chewing function is greatly enhanced with this product. And it feels more like natural teeth. The patient usually doesn’t even take this out. They come in for regular visits where we remove it and make sure that it’s kept clean and healthy.

The other option, kind of the third set of the teeth, is a full roundhouse that’s actually cemented in. This is fixed in place and cemented on more implants that are placed based on the physiology of your bone, and this becomes just like your natural teeth. You can chew and function like you did when you were in your teenage years. If you or anybody you know has problems because they’ve lost all their teeth, have them give the office a call. Come in, let us do a free consultation. We’ll show you the options, and you can make a decision on what’s best for you. We’ll help you be you again.
